I’d like to ntroduce to you my creature from my sfx final at  Cinema Makeup School,

Ceri the Moon Beetle!

“Ceri” is short for “Ceridwen”, and is named after a moon deity & Celtic goddess of rebirth, transformation and inspiration.

Ceri’s people derive from a far away moon, off the orbit of a much larger planet. Due to extreme global cooling, the beetle people have lost their ability to fully develop the intricate chitin in which once covered their now fleshy bodies.
